"Buddy" was born on July 22, 2005 under the breeding of Bill and Julie Kent from Midland, TX. His sire was CALICO RIDGE JASARI JAX and his dam was KENT'S AMAZING DAISY. Although both parents had champion bloodlines, neither the sire nor dam's owners showed them, yet the Kent's were totally dedicated to the high standards of the Rhodesian Ridgeback and were a valuable source of information when we researched the breed. We were then fortunate to purchase a puppy from them. In addition, we were also fortunate that Cheryl Lantz of Lionhounds graciously agreed to show Buddy to his championship. He is registered in both AKC and UKC and is OFA hip certified. Buddy's name is also indicative of his nature; he is a strong, loyal friend who likes nothing better than to be by his master's side. Such devotion is an honor to have from such a wonderful dog. He is a big dog with a gentle nature, however, he is our best dog at guarding our premises.
